Ingredients

  • 2 (10 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can petite diced tomatoes with chipotle
  • 1/4 onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 3 slices pickled jalapeno peppers, or to taste (optional)
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro leaves

Directions

  1. Place the canned tomatoes, onion, garlic, lime juice, and optional jalapenos into a blender. Cover, and blend until it reaches the desired consistency. Add cilantro and pulse until combined.

  • If your salsa comes out too spicy to enjoy, add a tiny pinch of sugar and stir.
