I used the recipe that "MSFURIOUS1" poseted in the reviews, and that recipe was great, better then most egg drops that I've had eating out.

This was ok, but it is definitely important to go easy on the salt. I don't recommend adding any more than what is already present in the chicken broth.

Very good! I added soy sauce when I put the chives and ginger in to give it more flavor. The eggs did get a little puffy, so adding the cornstarch first would work better.

i loved this soup, but it wouldn't have been 5 stars if not for MSFURIOUS1's comment [see below: Reviewed on Feb. 6, 2004 by MSFURIOUS1]. because of her tips, the egg looked absolutely beautiful.

I mixed the first reviewers recipe and this one. It was good, but something didn't taste right. I need to just make this recipe with no changes.

I thought this was much too bland. I added much more green onions and even garlic powder. The texture of the soup and egg were great though. It just was missing something... some spice.

This is a really good recipe but I think it could use some tweaking. Green onions would be better than chives. I don't think the salt is necessary and if the soup does taste like it needs salt then I think soy sauce should be added. Thanks for sharing.

For those who have time-make your own chicken broth. It's even better. This is a fabulous recipe. Keep in mind that the egg thickens the soup - a lot! I'll be making this again, for sure!!

this was so good, and very easy. I will make this from now on everytime I make a batch of stirfry. I added peas into mine gave the soup a nice bonus.

Very easy to make, and the flavor was great. I think I whisked the eggs a little too much once in the chicken broth but the flavor was still wonderful.

This was a good tasting, simple recipe. You can whip this up in no time and make your family happy. There's very few ingredients in this simple soup, so don't skimp on the quality or the taste will suffer.
