This is a great recipe! I also used splenda and increased the white wine vinegar to 2tbs. I shred a whole cabbage and add the dressing when I am ready to use the cole slaw as there are only 2 of us. Sometimes I add onion and green pepper, for a little different flavor which we really enjoy.

Excellent recipe! My only alteration was to not use the milk, as the cabbage will wilt and release some liquid from the salt. I think it makes it less runny. But a great combo of remaining ingredients.

Awesome recipe.... all I changed was that I added about 1/4 tsp of celery salt and 2 finely chopped celery stalks. Also sprinkled and mixed in some paprika and extra black pepper

Very good. There was a little too much liquid after it chilled, so next time I will cut back a little on the lemon juice or vinegar. But overall excellent - tastes exactly like what you would find at a restaurant!

None of us liked this at all. I was expecting something like KFC's coleslaw - not even close - flavorless - sorry

This tastes just like the coleslaw you would get at a restaurant. I had to use Miracle Whip becuase we were out of mayo, but I'm sure its just as good. I am so happy I found this recipe, thanks!

I am so picky about eating coleslaw but I loved it after trying it...Tasted very close to KFC's coleslaw. I didn't have any lemon juice so I just left it out. Yummy!!!

I made this for my parents and they loved it. Coleslaw is one of their favorite side dishes, so I will be making this again.

Since made this for Easter dinner last year, I am asked to make it for each family picnic and holiday dinner! If I am making a big batch, I use three bags of coleslaw and double the dressing ingredients. Also, I use red onions. Turns out great.

Finally I can make good coleslaw! I didn't know what I was doing wrong before. Now I know, the sugar makes all the difference. This is wonderful slaw, I love it.

I have looked for a great coleslaw recipe for a long time. Nothing comes close to this one. Very good and as close to restaurant quality as you can get. I always get compliments when I make it.

Best ever! I love how it uses a variety of flavors (lemon, vinegar, buttermilk, etc) to make such a smooth, perfect taste!

Very good. In order to prevent the slaw from being runny, I usually put the salt on the cabbage & carrots to let some of the water out of them for about 1 hr or so and drain it before mixing other ingredients. Result: less runny slaw.

I doubled the onion and put it in my small food processor to puree seeing as my husband doesn't like the onion texture. When those were small,I added all the other ingredients for the sauce and blended until the sauce was nice and smooth then poured over the coleslaw mix. I gave it three hours in the frig stirring every hour. Served with pulled chicken sandwiches, it was perfect.
