Fabulous meatloaf. I used pork instead and added finely chopped veggies too. Had people ask for the recipe.

This was excellent! best meat loaf I've ever had. Followed receipt to a T. I did make a glaze for the top with brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, worstershire, etc. and added that on the last 15 minutes. Very good. Will make again.

My boyfriend made this last night for dinner and it was hands-down the best meatloaf we have ever had. He wasn't exactly thrilled when I announced I wanted a meatloaf night. I strategically picked this recipe because of the ingredients...he loves steak sauce and cheese. :) It was so good! It really tastes great! So easy to make also.

My family really enjoyed this recipe. I did a Easter theme meatloaf, and really really got the jaws dropping with my kids. I guess they not only enjoyed the meatloaf shaped as an Easter Egg, but loved that it was really good, tender, not dry. This gets my 5 star all the way.

This meatloaf was just ok for us - nothing special. I used the cheese crackers as recommended by the recipe writer. We thought the cheese crackers gave the meatloaf an odd taste once cooked. Thought I would try this for something different, but, I will stick with my regular meatloaf recipe.

Awesome! I used dried onion instead of the onion mix but otherwise followed the recipe exactly! My husband who really, really doesn't like meatloaf had seconds and all three kids loved it. Less than a week and it's already been requested again!

This was fantastic. I made it just like the recipe called for. I've never been a fan of meatloaf, but I will make this over and over.

This was awesome - I made a few adjustments based on what was in the house and really liked it so I'll stick with them next time. I used 1lb ground beef and 1/2 lbs italian turkey sausage (I had links so just cut off casing and mixed in). Also substituted worcestershire for the steak sauce and used the glaze another user suggested (ketchup, honey, worcestershire) Was great that night and even better the next day on a pita with cheese and french's fried onions. Husband loved it and kids GOBBLED IT UP!

My hubby really liked this, he ate all the leftovers - which is a rarity in this house. I was not overly impressed - I should've bought leaner ground beef - there was WAY too much grease. I loved the suggestion of putting two pieces of bread at the bottom of the pan to soak up the grease then toss before serving.

I used ground buffalo in this recipe and it was perfect. In fact, my husband said this is the best meatloaf that he has ever eaten. It is a keeper. Easy and delicious.

Very easy recipe to make and the taste is so good. I made my own little changes after reading past reviews. Instead of buttery round crackers I used Cheez-it square crackers. I also used an onion and garlic packet intended for potatoes. I did not use all of the mix just about 3/4 of it. That is all the substitutions I made when it came to the ingredients. As for the preparation no difference followed it through, the egg mixture with steak sauce and ketchup is simple and a good marinade for the ground beef. I took my loaf pan and lined it with 3 slices of bread (any kind will do), this will help soak up the excess fat drippings unless your gonna use it for gravy then I would not use bread on the bottom. Other than that the cook time and temperature made it just right. Cool the loaf after taking out of oven for about 10 minutes that way all the moisture stays in. I highly recommend this recipe, will make again for my family.

I have made several meatloaf recipes over the years, searching for one which our whole family could agree on. This is the one! I made some adjustments (see below) so that it would feed our family of six, and even my usually picky 14 year old daughter loved it and had seconds. Here are the adjustments I made: 2 lbs lean ground beef instead of 1 1/2, 1 cup crackers instead of 1/2, 3/4 cup ketchup instead of 1/4, and 2 1/2 Tbsp steak sauce, instead of 2. I also substituted Monterrey Jack cheese for the Cheddar, because I didn't have any on hand.

This is sooo good. I try not to use a lot of artificial ingredients with preservatives in my cooking (i.e. onion soup mix), so I left it out, using 1/2 cup of minced onion instead. I was trying to find a substitution for the Ritz, but couldn't think of anything, so I ended up caving in and using a box I had left over from a Christmas gift. This was a wise choice. The crackers make the meatloaf quite tasty.

Absolutely wonderful. Best meatloaf recipe I've made. I followed some of the suggestions and prepared the glaze w/ honey, ketchup, and instead of wor sauce, used A1 sauce. delicious. I'll be making this again.

I'm on the hunt for THE meatloaf recipe, and for us this is the one. I, too, didn't add the entire pkg of soup mix. I added some garlic and onion powder and pepper. I also topped w/ glaze of honey, worch. sauce, and ketchup. We loved it, and not a bit left over! Too bad! ;(

I'm a vegetarian - fiance is NOT. So learning to cook meat dishes has been somewhat of a fiasco! The exception to that is the REMPEL FAMILY MEATLOAF!!! Fiance said it was better than his favorite meatloaf at the store!! Feeling so thrilled to have actually made something not only edible, but positively enjoyable! Very easy to make!!

Great recipe, full of flavor. I used parmesan flavored bread crumbs instead of the crushed crackers, used barb. sauce instead of steak sauce and removed more than half of the onions out of the onion soup mix. It still made a great meatloaf I will make many more times. We will have meatloaf sandwiches from the leftovers.

AMAZED! My husband hates, and I mean HATES all meatloaf...except this one! I followed the directions except omitted the onion soup. Served with brown gravy and mashed potatoes. Yum! A thousand "Thank Yous" for finally getting meatloaf into my dinner rotation!
