We just had this delicious meatloaf for dinner and it was a hit both with the adults and with my teenaged son. I followed the recipe as written, only adding about 1/4 cup of milk to soften it up. Thanks for sharing, Connie!

Yowza is this good. I do NOT like meatloaf and set out to find one that both my husband and I would like (as he is a meatloaf lover.) This is delicious. I've made it several times. It's definitely fun to play with and try new things but the recipe as is tastes amazing. It also makes excellent leftovers. Thanks Connie for making me a meatloaf lover!

I added a can of mushrooms, green peppers and chopped onion and made a sauce with ketchup and mustard to put on top, super yummy!

I have always hated meatloaf, but I wanted to try one last time just in case. I'm so glad I did, because this was AMAZING. It's now how I cook meatloaf, and I do all sorts of variations suggsted, though the way its written works great.

Very good flavor but seemed to not sit real well. A little on the rich side. Next time I won't use the whole package of soup mix.

I am eating this as I type! Perfet on a cool fall evening - sliced on a baguette with fresh green beans on the side. Followed the recipe as is except for substituted one T Worc. sauce instead of A1. I did not find this to be too salty whatsoever. Highly recommend - this will be one of our regular recipes this winter! Thanks:)

This was a nice change from standard tomato sauce/ketchup style meatloaf. I was short on a few ingredients, so had to change the recipe: only used 1 egg, used about 1/3 cup of half ketchup/half tomato sauce mix, added a couple teaspoons of worchesterchire and a dash of liquid smoke (per previous reviewer's suggestion), substituted a generous handful of steak seasoning, onion powder and garlic powder for the onion soup mix, and added about 1/4 cup more crackers. I put half the meatloaf in the pan, layered 4 slices of pepperjack on top, then added the rest of the meat. Topped with a tomato sauce/honey/worchesterchire glaze and baked 60 minutes. The result was a meatloaf that tasted cheesy, slightly spicy, and char broiled, and was more firm than traditional meatloaf. My husband doesn't like mushy tomato-y meatloaf, so he loved this. Overall, a great recipe to make as is or play with. Thanks Rempels!

Flavor was fantastic, but I am still a novice meatloaf maker and cannot figure out why mine won't stick together.

What a simple but great recipe. I did use saltine crackers and worcestshire sauce as that was what I had on hand. Definately a good recipe to keep as the ingredients you usually have on hand. Also a good recipe for a meatloaf without onions!

This was a nice change from my savory meatloaf, really enjoyed the buttery crackers in stead of bread crumbs or saltines which I usually add. Tried the glaze someone suggested, I thought it was very good, but some while they really enjoyed the meat felt it was too sweet, with the glaze. Thanks for posting, next time I will try it without the glaze/

I wish I could give it more stars considering everyone else seemed to have loved this recipe. I guess it just wasn't my taste. I found that I had to cook it much longer than called for and it fell apart very easily. Perhaps I just partial to my mothers recipe, glad I tried it though!

This was very good. It was so moist I couldn't get it out of the pan without it breaking apart! I do like gravy on my meatloaf which didn't go too well with all the cheese in it. I will probably cut back the cheese or use something a little milder next time. But its a keeper!
