Delicious! I have made this so many times, that I have found some of my own variations that I love, but it's good as is. I usually use a mix of beef, pork, and sausage (equal parts beef and pork and about 1/4 pound of sausage). I also use the flakes of the onion soup mix and only half of the powder. I add about a tsp. of minced garlic and a dash of worstershire to the egg mixture & I use about a cup of cheese. I also use a pan that has holes in the bottom and I place another loaf pan under using wads of aluminum foil to separate them. This allows the meatloaf to drain while cooking. I always use a glaze on top too. Worstershire, Ketchup, and Honey. I have had many compliments on this meal. Best ever!

Very good.I used Heinz 57 sauce instead of steak sauce for a little more zip.

I love this recipe...super yummy. My changes were that I only used 1 pound of lean ground beef and then finely shredded yellow zucchini (squeezed out) to it to make up for the meat. My kids asked what it was and I told them it was shredded cheese (couldnt do that with green though). also, I used whole wheat Ritz. Yummy...now my go to meatloaf recipe.

Awesome! I made this for the first time last year for Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit! It has been the only recipe I use for meatloaf ever since. I use sharp cheddar cheese, Lipton's Beefy Onion soup and one of the sweeter varieties of A-1 steak sauce where the recipe calls for them - just suggestions!

Delish just as written! I did take the advice of another user and put a couple of slices of bread on the bottom of my pan. This was perfect for the loaf not to sit in a puddle of grease during baking. Moist, juicy and very flavorful. I did shape the loaf a bit instead of completely pressing in the pan. Thanks Connie! A keeper!

I thought it was ok, but my son and husband liked it more than the brown sugar meatloaf on this site. It definitely needs a glaze for more flavor.

I had my doubts about this recipe as I am not a steak sauce fan and neither is my husband. I am so glad that I tried it anyway!! We loved it. I probably added more cheese then the recipe stated because I love cheese, but it was moist and yummy. The only thing I did different was to make a brown sugar/ketchup glaze for the top of the meatloaf and that gave a nice sweet crunch to the savory meat. Definitely will make aghain!!

This was pretty good. I didn't care for the onion soup mix,but that's just personal preference. I'd much rather chop an onion and maybe a green pepper instead. Overall, a good meatloaf.

We just had this delicious meatloaf for dinner and it was a hit both with the adults and with my teenaged son. I followed the recipe as written, only adding about 1/4 cup of milk to soften it up. Thanks for sharing, Connie!

Yowza is this good. I do NOT like meatloaf and set out to find one that both my husband and I would like (as he is a meatloaf lover.) This is delicious. I've made it several times. It's definitely fun to play with and try new things but the recipe as is tastes amazing. It also makes excellent leftovers. Thanks Connie for making me a meatloaf lover!

I have always hated meatloaf, but I wanted to try one last time just in case. I'm so glad I did, because this was AMAZING. It's now how I cook meatloaf, and I do all sorts of variations suggsted, though the way its written works great.

Very good flavor but seemed to not sit real well. A little on the rich side. Next time I won't use the whole package of soup mix.
