Marinated Rib-eyes

Actually, this is an excellent marinade for any steak. The marinade mainly consists of Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. The sugar makes the steaks tender and gives just a hint of sweetness. I sometimes add some Dijon mustard or red pepper flakes for a little zing.

If you are looking for a special steak for your sweetie, look no further. This takes less than thirty minutes from start to finish; less if you choose to broil instead of BBQ. Flavorful and easy, this steak is tough to beat. I serve this with brown and serve sourdough bread or rolls. If you're really hungry, crumble some additional bacon and add a baked potato. Add candles and a bottle of full bodied red wine (like a cabernet from the Alexander Valley) for a romantic evening.

This is a great marinade for different beef cuts. We use it on steaks that we want to grill. Has GREAT flavor and keeps meat tender and moist! Allow time to marinate for at least 6 hours.

Single malt Scotch whiskey is the sole ingredient for the marinade for these rib-eye steaks. Select thick steaks with good marbling for this recipe.

When spring comes to our house, out comes the grill! My husband does a great job cooking these steaks to perfection. They taste so terrific, we often have them once a week. -Sonja Kane, Wendell, North Carolina

Beer Steak

Start with great steaks and you 're half-way there. The rest of the process is easy. Sprinkle the steaks with salt and lemon pepper, pressing the mixture gently into the meat. Pour on your favorite beer and let sit in the refrigerator for an hour or two before grilling.
