Ingredients

  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 pounds beef roast
  • 1/2 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix

Directions

  1. Place the red wine, water, and beef roast in a slow cooker. Season with dry onion soup mix.
  2. Cover, and cook 5 hours on Low.
