Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 (15.5 ounce) cans French cut green beans, drained
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onions, and cook for a few minutes. When the onions are soft, add the garlic, and cook until fragrant. Mix in the green beans; cook and stir for two minutes. Stir in the tomato paste and water, then season with salt, pepper and cumin. Simmer for 5 more minutes over low heat before serving.
