I really have never like mayonaise potato salad - I think because it is usually bland. I wanted to make some for the first time and boy was it a hit. My brother in law, who is very picky got seconds, and my brother could not stop raving about it. I halved the recipe for six adult and everyone had enough for seconds. The next night we entertained again and I made the full recipe because we WANTED to have leftovers!

It was good, I think it would have tasted better if served warm.Maybe next time mix the sauce ahead of time and allow the flavors to meld then add to warm potatoes.

It, was, amazing!!! I loved it so much. I added some salad dressing to it, and it was amazing! I could have done without the celery, but it wasn't too bad and it made it healthier so...

This is the best "different" potato salad I have found. My 20-year-old son makes it for all the time for his friends.

This was by far the BEST potatoe salad recipe I have ever tried or eaten!!!! Only a few subs, I used green onions instead of white and I used a cup of sour cream instead of the mayo..A little extra seasoning to taste!!!!

So good, I gave the recipe out to all of my guests on our thank you card! Left out the egg, added more potato and used scallions/green onions.

Because of all the work involved, I do not make potato salad from scratch. I buy it from the grocery store, ready made. So, when I was tasked with potato salad for Thanksgiving, I was feeling pretty daunted. Of course, I went straight to allrecipe.com to find a good recipe. I followed the recipe exactly and I was extremely happy with the results. If I had not been, I would not haved taken it to Thaankgiving dinner! Everyone else loved it, too. The only thing I would add next time is some mustard. I do like mustard flavor in my potato salad. Personal opinion, though. as is, this potato salad is wonderful. Besides the potato boiling and cubing, it was easy. Even though I hate the work... I will make this again. Definitely.

10 stars! I made this for a churh potluck. It was the only dish that was completly empty when finished. Actually I had to make two batches as my kids ate the first. They ask for it all the time. I did as some sugest and added a little sourcream and mirclewhip to give it more pazza's I also used jared bacon pieces as a time saver. Oh also make sure to use red new potatoes as red tatoes doesn't cut it. THANKS

The bacon is the secret ingredient. It really makes this dish different than other tater salads. I didn't put the eggs in due to time but it still came out fantastic.

This salad was perfect. I only made a half batch, as I only had about 1 lb of red potatoes. I also cut them and cubed them prior to boiling them. Other than that I made according to the direction. It was delicious.

I made this potato salad to go with burgers at our Halloween party last night and this was a huge hit. Everyone raved about the potato salad and wanted the recipe. It is very simple to make and delicious! I didn't change one ingredient. It will be a staple side dish for burgers and bbq in our house from now on!
