nothing new here....I,ve been doing this tye for years. I also add either dill or swweet pickle...never use the pickle relish because it doesn,t have the taste of chopped pickle. I,m glad you came up with this because it is great.

I had a bunch of red potatoes to use up, so I was interested in this recipe I had to make due with what I had. Didn't have any chives, but I put dried parsley and dried dill weed, GREAT! Also, I didn't have red onion, just used regular onion. Didn't have cheddar cheese, used shredded parmesean cheese. GREAT! I made it one other time with Cheddar cheese and it's much better. So, use cheddar cheese if you have it, but can use parmesan in a pinch. Oh, definitely use MORE bacon! I used three pieces.

My Father-in-laws favorite and always an empty bowl when I take this to other gatherings. I've made this 'as is' and am always asked for the recipe. Thank you

This was really great. I took it to a cookout and everyone loved it. It did need more bacon and I did follow a couple other suggestions from other reviewers! Thank you!!

Easy easy easy. I also added more bacon (probably torn into larger pieces, as well) and, as always, garlic. Oh, also dolloped small amount of ranch dressing. Really small amount.

This was a very good recipe, but I did tweak it a bit. I used three pieces of bacon instead of one, I used more mayo, added more sour cream, and I love onions so I upped the anty on those as well. But I did add ranch. That added just the right kick. It was delicious! Highly recommend!
