Delicious lentil dish with no modifications needed. This has become a weekly meal in our family. Our 1-year old loves it as well (although I serve it at just a little warmer than room temperature for our kids to take off the edge of the spicy heat). Also, I do like it mushy, so I am rather liberal with the amount of water. Yummy dish!

Delicious! I couldn't find red lentils so I used regular. Served with jasmine rice. Loved the flavor and the spice!

For some Bizarre reason I have just noticed (after cooking this recipe millions of times) that I cook it in the slow cooker and the recipe dosn't call for it - OOPS I just sautee all but the lentils then wash them chuck em in and chuck everything in the slow cooker pot and cook it on low until done... its most awesome especially with Naan have even added veges for a more wholesome meal...

I've been meaning to try lentils for a long time. I just went vegan, so here it goes: I had all the ingredients except tomato puree so I used fire-roasted diced tomatoes. I overcooked the lentils, but that didn't seem to matter. I would like it a little spicier and with more sauce. Next time I will cut the lentils in half (instead of doubling spices--it made a lot!), find something hotter than Patar's mild curry paste and pick up some Indian chili powder. YUM.

I have never written a review before though this one deserves it! To reduce the heat I didn't add the chilli powder. I'll be adding this recipe to my regular collection

This was seriously more than I could have hoped for. Very easy and soooo delicious. Great with a little Greek yogurt.

Sooo good! I only had green lentils, which worked out just fine with this curry (It just takes longer to cook). It is very easy to do and tastes delicious!

Excellent Lentil dish. So good, my hubby even ate it without his usual covering of hot chili garlic oil! To be diabetic diet-friendly, I substituted raw coconut crystals for the white sugar-low glycemic index, no coconut flavoring, just sweet & granular. We will have this one again!

Good. I used green lentils (what I had on hand) and extra tomatoes and spices. Easy to adjust the "heat" in this recipe.

I have never cooked lentils before. When I first took a bite of this, I thought... Yummy, but I'll probably be tired of it in a few bites. I was so wrong! This was wonderful. Served it over white rice. Can't wait to make it again.
