My husband made this - making it the way that was easy for him... not measuring well, adding the garlic whenever, adding milk instead of cream, I still loved it!

Perfect recipe. Very flavorful. I would have never thought of adding steak seasoning or sugar! Hubby loved it so much he had thirds. Will be making again.

It was good, not great and I added fresh roasted garlic. I was afraid of the steak spice and used less, so it was a little bland.

Decent mashed taters, yo! I left out the sugar, and instead of garlic powder i just used extra fresh garlic, all of which I boiled with the potatoes. Didn't bother using the mixer, just boiled them long enough to hand mix. I recommend trying herbs en provence instead of the steak seasoning.

Great potatoes -- I made them for Christmas dinner. Actually made them ahead of time and reheated and you couldn't tell!

I didn't have half and half, so I used about 1 cup of 2% milk. It was very good

The first time, I thought the potatoes were too sweet. Second time I made it, I halved the sugar and the potatoes were good.

Sugar is the secret ingredient. Everyone loved, although they couldnt quite put their finger on what made this dish different. Yummy!

Excellent recipe for red garlic mashed potatoes...the half and half makes it creamy but still fluffy!

I don't know why this recipe calls for sugar so I omitted it. Otherwise, this recipe is pretty good.

These were awesome. I made them for Thanksgiving and they were devoured. I didn't put in the sugar or the steak seasoning. Also instead of half and half I used plain yogurt. They were so good.

I was very disappointed with this recipe. These potatoes were bland and flavorless. Even adding additional butter, salt and sour cream, I couldn't even save these. Not enough garlic, or salt, or butter is called for in this recipe. These did not turn out too good at all. Just not enough flavor for me, and definitely not the type of potatoes I was looking for. Can't even think of any modifications to make this recipe more useful. Won't be attempting this one again.
