Very good. Added a little lemon zest, which gave it a very fresh flavor.

I like it with a little less lemon juice, but this is a great tasting and easily made recipe.

I've made this four times now, and have gotten great results every time. This is quick, simple, and delicious, and it is exactly how I expect a good, store-bought hummus to taste. I have not yet tried adding specialty ingredients (roasted garlic, sun dried tomatoes, etc.) because the base recipe is so good on its own. Thank you for sharing it!

Awesome! Nice and simple and really easy to make. I found this to be just perfect, but it's a recipe that can be easily modified if you don't like as much garlic or like more lemon.

I love hummus! It's one of those things that I would eat over and over again and definitely would be in my "last dinner" menu. I've tried many from different places and some better than others, but the best one was the one made by a middle eastern family who had a little restaurante in town but had to close and move away. I never eat such as excellent hummus as theirs until I found this recipe. It is just EXCELLENT with the changes made by the author. I have followed the recipe and made hummus for many gatherings and partys and it has been a hit! Thanks a lot for sharing Royhobbs!

A good starter recipe. I did the following adjustments. I did not add any salt or pepper, used 2 cloves of garlic, a half of a jalapeno seeded, and used 2 heaping TB of tahini. I did not add olive oil. I also squeezed juice of 1/2 of a lemon. garnished with sumac, and slivered almonds sauteed in olive oil, and fresh cucumbers and tomatoes.

I just tried this today following everything listed (except I went half tsp of salt and added cumin), used my blender and it barely got through blending all of it...as a result, it all came out chunky and thick. The taste was far too sour with the lemon juice and I think adding ANY salt is a bad idea because it came out very salty...not a fan :(

This is a great recipe! I add a good 5-10 shakes of cumin, and then more to taste when eating. I also use all the garbanzo beans. Skip the black pepper and olive oil.

Excellent! Best hummus I've made. Followed suggestions to add cumin and use 2 cloves of garlic. Just eyeballed the amounts on everything. Didn't have any tahini on hand and it was still great!
