First of all, great recipe! My dad and boyfriend couldn't stop eating it! I did a few changes though. First, I made a mixed berry flavored gelatin by using a blackberry fusion jello, doubled the recipe, and one 16 oz bag of mixed berries consisiting of blackberries, blueberries, and raspberrys. One thing I did was I put the condensed milk in right away when I made up the jello, and about an hour and a half it was the perfect consistency to add the fruit, mixed in well, and an hour later, it was ready!

Mine would not gel properly. It is a glob of mush. I followed it exactly so I don't know if it is supposed to be this way or if something went wrong.

Love it! Low in calories and can easily be adapted to just about any flavour you like. You can even use unflavoured gelatin and go crazy with flavours you can't get in Jello!

This is my new favorite jello recipe. Its so easy and everyone asks for the recipe. I don't bother draining the raspberries - or thawing them. To save time I just put them in the jello after adding the hot water - then the let it set a little before beating in the chilled evaporated milk. The raspberries get all broken up that way, but I liked how it was smooth and had such a nice texture.
