We molded this into a jello brainmold and put the rasp. preserves on it- bloody brains- yeah it looked gross- gross enough where no one would eat it- It had an ok flavor- My mom liked it- probably would not make again.

This was very good. I made it for a party and everyone loved it. I used some all natural fruit spread instead of preserves, and used about 2X as much as called for. I am making it again for another party this weekend!

This was good! I made it for fellowship at church (a very conservative group) so left off the raspberry spread and used red pepper rings for decoration. Went over very well!

If I made this again, I would put the cheese mixture through a food processor to even out the texture a bit.

The raspberry preserves sounded a little odd, but it really brings something special to this appetizer--great for parties, I highly recommend it!

SO GOOD!! Made it for a party and everyone raved about it. It was really easy, could be prepped in advance, looked nice and disappeared quickly! Very creamy, nutty, delicious!

I know I'm in the minority here, but I thought this was really bad. Way too much mayo, and the raspberry preserves just gave it a really weird taste. I served this on Thanksgiving, and none of my guests really touched it, and nobody complimented on it. I won't make this one again.

I used low fat cream cheese and less than a half cup of mayo. Then, in a holiday stupor, I mixed in both the pecans and the raspberry preserves. I was left with not a very pretty spread but a tasty one! A night in the fridge allowed the flavors to meld beautifully. I will make this again and next time will put the preserves on top as directed.

I made this twice so far this Holiday season and it was devoured both times. The green onion flavors the mayo/cheese mixture just perfectly...and the sweetness of the raspberry jam just tops it off. It was delicious, as well as beautiful. I will definitely make again! Thanks for the wonderful recipe.

This was good, but not as good as I had hoped. Maybe I did something wrong. I gave it 4 because we did eat it all, it is just that my other cheeseballs seemed more popular.

I made this for Thanksgiving this year. It was really really good - everyone loved it. The only changed I made were: I left out the pecans (my teenage daughter begged me not to put them in) and instead of Raspberry on top I used habanero pepper jelly. I'll definitely make this again.

Though I had my doubts as I was mixing this cheeseball together, it turned out great! A delicious blend of sweet and savory. I couldn't find 'seedless' raspberry preserves so I used Smuckers' Seedless Raspberry Jam instead. I will be adding this recipe to my appetizer repertoirre!
