2 (3 ounce) packages
chicken flavored ramen noodles
4 thin slices
deli-style ham, cut into medium dice
green onions, thinly sliced
shredded mild Cheddar cheese
I made this recipe with a little more ham than called for and used regular onions instead of green onions. The time to set the egg was significantly longer than the time listed on the recipe and it was hard to tell when the egg was fully set. However, my 14 and 12 year old kids loved this dish!! We had it for lunch but my daughter thought it would be a great breakfast meal. They both gave it 5 stars. My husband and I weren't quite as fond of it but thought it was pretty good. We each gave it a 3, so we averaged it out to 4 stars overall. My son said to rate it as "EXCELLENT!"
I just sent this to my daughter. I know her husband and son will love this. For me I would only use egg substitute to lower the cholesterol. Everything else I would leave the same.
This was perfect for my family. There aren't many recipes that please both the kids and the husband, but this was one. It was easy to put together and surprisingly tasty! Thanks!
