I make this recipe to go with our ham whenever we have a ham! It is a wonderful compliment to a nice ham and the flavours are so nice together! Thank you!

I have used this recipe for over 40 years and it is a "got to have" at our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner because we have ham both times! I will have to say it keeps very well and is also very good with poultry and other pork!

excellent... I do not understand How people can be so rude when leaving comments. If you did not like it then just did not care not go into detail to say they had to throw it away...

Made this today for our Easter ham and, sorry, we did not care for it. Ended up throwing all away. Will try another another raisin sauce recipe next time. Nannie

This turned out really well and was a pleasure to make. With the exception of cutting the vinegar in half, adding some pineapple and a pinch or two of powdered cloves, I prepared the recipe as directed. The resulting sauce was finger-licking good. Thanks.

Great! Sweet, but not overpoweringly so. I don't normally eat raisins, but they were pretty good with the ham. I would definitely make this recipe again, and it's already in my recipe box. I had a little problem getting the consistency right, but I think that's because I'm not very good at timing when making more than one thing.
