Same as my great grandmothers! I made it awhile ago, my uncle loved it, back for a large second piece. He hadn't had it in years but remembered it. If people would try this instead of the ones with sour cream and various other alterations, they would eat this one and love it.

I finally found a Raisin Pie my husband loves and said it was better than his Mother's! That is saying a lot because she was an excellent baker and cook.

I made this today and I am here to tell you, it is amazing. I added about 3/4 cup of cran-raisin's, to the rest of the raisins, and it is sooo good. Thank you for sharing this with us.

This Raisin Pie tastes like pecan pie only with raisin's. It is very sweet. I'm going to make it again with a little less sugar and add some shelled nuts. Tasty and easy to make. I had to make an extra batch of pie filling to fill the pie shell.

This was good, but I think I would add more raisins. I also doubled the cinnamon. I had some concern when I put the filling in the pie as it seemed rather liquidy, but it baked up nicely!
