Raisins are first plumped in a mixture of water, sugar, flour, vanilla, lemon juice and butter. Then the filling is poured into a prepared pastry crust, topped with another crust and baked. Serve it with scoops of rum raisin ice cream.

A simple formula of one accounts for everything in this delicious pie. There 's one egg, one cup of raisins, one cup of buttermilk, one cup of sugar and one pinch of salt. Stir together, pour into a pie shell, cover with a second crust, and bake. It 's one heck of a pie.

Wonderful citrus flavors lace this delicious, raisin pie. Raisins are plumped and sweetened in orange and lemon juices, with smidgens of rind stirred in for more flavor and wonderful texture. A bit of flour is added for thickening, and then this yummy filling is poured into a prepared crust, topped with another and baked in a hot oven.

This version of a classic pie is wonderfully spiced with nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon. The spices are stirred into a sweet sour cream and raisin filling that is poured into a pastry crust. The pie bakes in under an hour and is best served warm with whipped cream.

This pie 's thick and creamy custard is made with raisins, sour cream, sugar, eggs, lemon juice and cornstarch. They are cooked and stirred until thick, and then the filling is poured into a prepared pie shell and chilled. The top is slathered with more sour cream, and then the pie is thoroughly chilled before serving.

Special Raisin Cream Pie

A lovely, sour cream and raisin filling is sandwiched between two layers of sweetened cream cheese that 's topped with whipped topping. The pie is then slipped into the fridge to chill and firm up. For some variation, try adding some dried cranberries along with the raisins.
