Lots and lots of plump raisins are combined with a thick, sweetened milk and butter mixture that 's spooned into a waiting crust. The top crust is fitted on and this old fashioned pie is baked until golden. Serve it with generous scoops of vanilla ice cream.

Wonderful citrus flavors lace this delicious, raisin pie. Raisins are plumped and sweetened in orange and lemon juices, with smidgens of rind stirred in for more flavor and wonderful texture. A bit of flour is added for thickening, and then this yummy filling is poured into a prepared crust, topped with another and baked in a hot oven.

This pie 's sugary raisin filling is cooked up on the stove. When the raisins are plump and well-sugared, cornstarch and lemon juice is added. Then the thick, sweet filling is poured into a prepared crust and chilled. Serve with whipped cream.

A simple formula of one accounts for everything in this delicious pie. There 's one egg, one cup of raisins, one cup of buttermilk, one cup of sugar and one pinch of salt. Stir together, pour into a pie shell, cover with a second crust, and bake. It 's one heck of a pie.

This version of a classic pie is wonderfully spiced with nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon. The spices are stirred into a sweet sour cream and raisin filling that is poured into a pastry crust. The pie bakes in under an hour and is best served warm with whipped cream.
