I love having this made ahead of time. I used others' suggestions and increased the sugars and cinnamon. I also used regular old-fashioned oats, so I just microwave it longer.

This mix is really convenient! I prepared this mix in May and have had it at work for emergency purposes. It's getting low, so I'll make another 1/2 batch. Thanks!

So Good! I love to make my stuff homemade. I only had cranberries instead of raisins. I used Splenda instead of sugar. I didn't have quick cooking oats so I just cooked it longer. I also used my homemade pumpkin pie spice.

YUM! I am not much of an oatmeal eater but want more fiber in my diet and trying to work on my cholesterol so I made a quick version with oats, 1/4 a banana (my toddler stole the rest) and about 1-2 TB of raisins with a pinch of cinnamon and 1 pkg of sweet n low. It was very tastey!! I am going to make the original recipe - ommiting the bananas until time to cook and I will be using the sweet and low in it. Thanks!

I love that this is something I can make in a big batch and just throw in a bowl. I used 1/2 cup raisins and 1/2 cup brown sugar instead of the brown and white sugar. It wasn't sweet enough for me, but I added a little honey after cooking and it was perfect.

This was pretty good, although next time I make it, I will change few things. I will increase the amount of brown sugar for starters (it wasn't really sweet enough for me). I did increase the amount of raisins the first time around and will do so next time; I omitted the apples altogether. I did add some fresh nutmeg, no idea how much because I just grated it over the bowl - I would significantly reduce this because the flavour was overpowering (to may 1/2 tsp) and I will increase the amount of cinnamon. For the most part, this is a very good recipe (and a great idea) and I will make it again for sure.

Left out the dried fruit and added more raisins and upped the spices a little. Nice recipe.

I changed it around a little just because I didn't have the dried fruits, I added a little more cinnamon, and added nutmeg and allspice to get the cinnamon and spice instant oatmeal flavor. This is a great instand oatmeal mix! I live in Japan and can't buy the stuff from home, so I'm happy I can make it myself! Thanks!
