"This recipe is a quick and easy way to enjoy jambalaya without spending too much time in the kitchen. It has just enough spice to give it a kick without making it too spicy. I use turkey kielbasa to make this recipe a little more healthy. I also suggest making your own home-mixed Cajun seasoning to avoid too many unnecessary additives."

Quick & Easy Jambalaya Haiku: "Four and a half stars! Really, this was outstanding. Just way too much rice!" Funny that other review says not enough rice, whereas I read 2 cups as insanely too much. Ended up making the rice (1/2 c. brown basmati, non-instant) separately to avoid it being smooshy or crunchy, and just stirring it in when we served the jambalaya. Really delicious, and very, very easy to make!
Not nearly enough rice. Probably won't make again, but if I did, then I would double the rice and chicken broth.
