I cooked a little longer, too for 45 minutes.l This was very tasty. I used a large pkg of chicken thighs legs with bones also. I tripled the sauce but 4x the ketchup. Im a ketchupaholic. Once done, I removed the bones and shredded the chicken and it was a hit.

Tried it last night and loved it! So simple but so tasty. Kind of like high quality sweet and sour chicken. Will definately make again.

Yum! I served this with vegetable rice medley (also from this site) and it was a big hit. The only thing is....too much pepper! I reduced it to 1/2 tsp, and we still thought it was too much. Next time I will use only 1/4 tsp. Nonetheless, a very tasty dish.

This recipe inspired me to play around with the ingredients a little bit. What I did was use one lemon (4 Tblespns of lemon Juice), One Orange( 4-5 Tblespns of Juice), 4 Tblespns of Honey chipotle, 3 Tblspns of Ketchup, 3 and a half Tblespns of sugar, and 3/4 teaspoon of ground pepper. Also I used garlic instead of an onion because my family doesn't like onions. This came out soo yummy. Try it.

Excellent! Very easy to make. Great with rice. I love sweet sauce and this was perfect. Even better the next day.

This was really good, I even surved it w/ rice like in the picture. The only changes I made was to cook it in the oven with the sauce on it, I also made extra sauce for the side.

Based on the other reviews, I tripled!! the sauce amount and used a lot less onions. Also only used a dash of lemon juice. I enjoyed it, but the sauce amount is way off.

I liked everything about this, except that I found the sauce just a little too tart and thin. I should have read the reviews first. (I found the recipe, thought it looked good, printed it out and got to cooking!) I would've doubled the sauce (maybe not the lemon juice or pepper??) and would've let the sauce boil a bit longer. I will take another reviewer's suggestion and add some salt next time. Otherwise I really enjoyed this and will make again, due to the speed of prep and moistness of the chicken.

I was looking for a recipe that I actually had all the ingredients for and this one worked. My husband and I both really liked it. I doubled the sauce and served it with angel hair pasta and a side veggie. I will make this again.

I, too, doubled the sauce and reduced the amount of lemon juice and it turned out great. My 2 year old daughter even loved it!

I was very disappointed after reading the reviews. I doubled the sauce and only put in half of the recommended pepper. The pepper taste was SO strong it ruined the other flavors. Will definitely never make again.

delicious! I paired it with rice and veggies for a quick & easy meal. Make double (or even triple!) the amounts there though... I found it hardly covered the chicken. Enjoy!

Not a sauce to be used with rice. It is more of a bbq sauce. Would be great in the summer on the BBQ. Also, this dish was very sickly.

Loved it! I was making lunch for myself and wanted some sort of chicken over cavatapi noodles (had the noodles as leftovers). I also didn't have an onion (used it the night before) so I used a red pepper. I doubled the sauce & devoured it! Definitely hit the spot! Thanks.
