This is my favorite Chicken Noodle Soup recipe. So easy. The first time I made it my son was home sick. We loved it! Today my daughter is home sick and I've added mushrooms and substituted cream of mushroom soup for the veg soup. It's the best I've ever had!

The BEST chicken noodle soup ever! Made it for my 90-year old parents who are very fussy and they couldn't get enough! Used a rotisserie chicken and spaghetti which I cut up in small pieces as they're easier for them to manage vs wide egg noodles which slip off the spoon. Substituted parsley for the basil, left out the oregano and added a bay leaf. Used Kitchen Basics brand for the broth which we like best and omitted the vegtable broth. This is the ONLY chicken noodle soup recipe I will use from now on!

Excellent & easy! Needed a quick chicken noodle for a sick hubby. Didn't have egg noodles, just used mini bowties. Followed other suggestions and added garlic with the onion and carrots. We didn't add any extra salt. Will keep!
