I have my daughter home sick with a cold today and I made her this soup which was great! We both loved it! I'm eating a bowl right now as I type this. A few things I changed were that I doubled the carrots and celery, and I did not put onion because I can't bare to chop one, but the good news is that I don't miss the onion at all! Thank you so much for this recipe!

The basil & oregano totally overtook the dish. I cooked the noodles separately then added later and it still didn't seem like enough broth. I won't be making this again.

This soup is amazing! I used reduced-sodium broth, cut up one uncooked chicken breast and threw it when it it started to boil, didn't use celery (don't care for it) so I doubled the carrots.

Really flavorful soup. Make this for my boyfriend when he and his roommate were sick. They really loved it! Best soup I've ever made!

This is an awesome chicken soup recipe. Instead of the noodles, I make the Rolled Dumplings and turn this into Chicken-N-Dumplings. Wonderful!

This was a really good soup...the only thing I did differently was saute a clove of garlic along with the onions, celery and carrots. This meal was on the table in about 40 minutes, although I was in a rush and I didn't let the soup simmer for 20 minutes. I will definately make this again when I'm in a hurry!

Good easy recipe to have on hand. I added a few more veggies and it was very yummy. next time I think I will cook the pasta seperate and add to the broth individually. The pasta soaked up all the broth so it was more like a stew than a soup....don't know what I did wrong??? But its still a keeper. Thanks.

My boyfriend said it was the best chicken noodle soup he had ever had. I used about twice as much chicken and vegetables as noted because we like chunky soup. Also I used fresh garlic, and Italian Seasonings. I recommend adding the carrots immediately with the butter, garlic, onions and celery so that they become tender. Delicious!!! Tastes great as leftovers as well!

I have been looking for years for an easy, good chicken noodle soup recipe and I have found it. I doubled the vegies and added some poultry seasoning. It was great!

This is so easy, and I've made some changes to make it even easier. Saute the carrots along with the onions and celery. After adding and heating the broths, add raw cubed chicken breast pieces and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Ten minutes before you are ready to serve, add egg noodles. Simmer for 5 minutes and then turn off the heat. Let the soup sit for five minutes more. Only one pot to wash!

This soup is amazing! I did alter it a little with using peas and corn insead of carrots and celery; and I took some reviewers advice and sauteed the veggies with garlic as well as doubling the noodles and chicken. This was by far the best chicken noodle soup I've ever eatten - I could never get store bought again! The broth combo must make this - it's fantastic!

Loved this soup... it was quick and easy, and so smooth on a cool or rainy evening. The only thing I did different was to add chicken broth and a ton more chicken, but that's just personal preference. The truth is, this recipe has a great foundation for anyone to accomodate to their own tastes. Thanks!
