I prepared the recipe as shown except I left out both the baking powder and the walnuts, and spooned about a half cup of melted PEANUT BUTTER to the top and swirled it before baking... BEST BROWNIES EVER!!! - also, I baked them for about 20 minutes on 350 and noticed they were still a little runny in the middle, so I decreased the heat down to 300 and baked them for another 20 minutes and they turned out perfect!

These brownies were delicious everyone loved them. I thought they were good but could've been better but I am very picky. For starters when i first took the brownies out of the oven they came out very airy and cake-like and I like my brownies a little more like soft cookies. I only added 1 cup of flour as other reviewrers suggested so maybe that's why but I don"t know. Also I thought they should have been chocolatier but I used starbucks hot cocoa powder instead of regular cocoa powder. After letting the brownies cool for a bit they became more cookie like but they were a little hard. Other than that the brownies were great!

umm these brownies are AWESOME!!! I must admit though I have done it both with the full amount of flour and with only 1 cup and I found the reduced amount to make better brownies but that's just my preference and with the full amount of flour they are still delicious! great recipe!! I also use pecans rather than walnuts (only because I always have these on hand)

They were easy and very fast to make, but they lacked the right texture for some reason. More like chocolate cake with a brownie top. I followed the advice of other reviewers and used less flour and more chocolate. The taste was good, but not fudgey or decadent like a brownie. Turned out like very sugary chocolate cake. Maybe even less flour next time? I'll try this again some other time and see if they turn out better.

Great recipe, I also added just 1 cup of flour. I didn't add cocoa powder and added extra vanilla, so I got very good blondies. The blondies are also good with 1/2 cup of chocolate chips mixed in.

I did this recipe for my Home Econmics task and my teacher thought this was such a easy recipe to do. We made the brownies with smarties and M&M's as we didn't add any walnuts in (I hate them!). I would recommend this recipe to anyone who doesn't have a clue what to cook cause its just delious and easy to make! I rate this 9/10

I found this to be almost a perfect match to my dad's brownies. I cut back on the butter to 3/4c for cake brownies but left it for the fudge type. Awesome!

These were very sweet, and I love sweets. But too sweet for even me. The kids enjoyed them, though, so I would make them again. I did cut the flour to 1 cup as some reviewers suggested, which gave them a great brownie consistancy. Maybe next time I'll use a little less sugar.
