These were yummy! I followed the recipe. I used a stone 9 x 13 and baked for 30 minutes. We are really enjoying them.

This is a great brownie recipie. We love making these instead of using a box mix. As already stated by others, reduce the flour to 1 cup to have a better texture.

These were super tasty! A bit cake-like, but still tasted like a brownie. Next time I might throw in a handful of mini choc-chips!

I made these in a jelly roll pan so that they would go farther and I might end up with one because I didn't from the last batch. They are wonderful. My husband is SO picky about his brownies. He hates cake brownies and I have now made this recipe 6 times already. They turn out wonderful even in the jelly roll pan. I cut back on the baking time and they were wonderful. I did cut back on the flour to 1 cup total. They were wonderful!!!! Thanks so much for this wonderful recipe!!!!

Grood texture and super moist, but kinda missing something. I followed the other reviewers' suggestion and used a little less flower, and always sprinkle some mini chocolate chips on top after spreding it in the pan. DO NOT USE REAL BUTTER!! Margarine is best for this recipe. For some reason they are better the next day.

These were really delicious. Of course, I didn't follow the recipe exactly...I was out of some of the ingredients. I only had a half cup of butter so I used shortening for the other half. I had self rising flour so I left out the salt and baking powder. Oh, and I only used a cup of flour as other reviewers suggested. I was worried, but I needed a chocolate fix. But they turned out great. They didn't look too great-a little crispy on the outside, but moist and chocolatey on the inside. I guess I really just created my own recipe-good start though.

These tasted more cake like than brownies. I was hoping it would be more rich. I cut the flour to 1 cup and also cut the butter in 1/2 and added 1/2 cup of applesauce. If I decide to add Choc. chips next time..should I melt them first or just add them to the batter?

I tried this recipe...it made a little more than I had hoped, but they seem to be a hit with the family, and that's all that really matters. Overall, a great recipe!

These were pretty good! Next time I will add some more cocoa or some semi sweet chips to help it taste a little more chocolatey. I used the amount of flour is asked for, but I added a chocolate pudding cup and I think that made them moist. I also added 1 tbsp of instant coffee... so yummy! :)

Made these with 1 cup flour, 1-1/2 cups sugar and just over 1/2 cup coconut oil as I had no butter/marg/applesauce... cooked for 25 min in 9x13 pan. They are very good.

In my opinoin they were really not the beat brownies i have ever tasted. I've tasted better! Except, I did use melted chocolate instead of coco powder. the tasted bland! these brownies are so not a keeper. If you really do not want to wast 4 eggs, flour, suger and more I wouldn't recomend wasting your time making these. I wonder if I did something wrong or not? Maybe,I will try it next time!

I made half a batch just now (they are still warm). I reduced the flour to half, added about 30 ml Creme de Menthe. Very easy to make and are yummy! I shall try it with chocolate chips next. Thank you for sharing.

WOW, I never made brownies from scratch before. These are GREAT I will never use a box again. I cut the flour to a little over one cup about 1 1/8 and used 3/4 cup of cocoa. I put a butter cream icing on them. I did not use any nuts because I did not have any on hand. They are sooo easy to make I will be making them again.

Agree quick to make. Will have to review again later, as this time I biffed. I Added 2 1/2 c. flour (should have known by how thick the batter was), and the outer edges are cakey. Baked for 35 min, and center still undone. I'm hoping that while cooling it'll "stiffen" to the chewy brownies I know & love. Even with that mistake, they are sweet, but don't contain a rich chocolate flavor that I'm craving.

These brownies are awesome! I'll be making these from now on. I'll never go back to a box mix. I followed some others suggestions and cut the flour down to 1/2 cup, cut the butter down to 1/2 cup, used 3 eggs and omitted the salt. I may also try cutting the sugar down in the future as well because I think they are bit too sweet.
