I made this last night for 8 people, didn't change a thing. Had plenty of sauce. Got rave reviews. Couldn't tell it had cream cheese in it. Will definitely add this to dinner rotation. Maybe next time I'd add peas and shrimp or chicken.

Delicious and easy! I used 1/3 less fat cream cheese and 1% milk and the sauce turned out creamy and delicious.

Like others, I cut the amount of butter to 3/4 of the original quantity. I also used 1/3 fat cream cheese, and skim milk. It turned out very well, but you can definitely tell it is made with garlic powder - yuck. Next time I will use fresh garlic. I didn't have any this time, unfortunately. I put the Parmesan cheese in before the milk so it would melt... I hate the gritty texture. I also added oregano and nutmeg, and will add even more next time. This is great and easy! Finally, this makes a TON of sauce. I cut the recipe down to two servings and it still made enough for at least 3.

Great quick alfredo sauce. I made as the recipe stated and also made another time subbing chicken broth for the milk and added some fresh basil before tossing with homemade pasta. Wonderful and easy. Thanks!

Very quick, easy sauce. I had to add more pepper to balance out the garlic and cream cheese flavor, but otherwise very nice!

Mine is similar but I use chicken broth and heavy cream in place of the milk. Good for a quick sauce.

Our family loves this sauce. I've only used grilled chicken and pasta with this sauce but am looking forward to taking the recipe with us to make for my family on our vacation on the coast of Florida and using fresh shrimp as well!

Very easy to make, you definitely need to cook low and keep whisking. I made with kraft parmesan and that was the only thing I could taste. Next time will make with fresh grated parm and use a little less.

This is so incredibly easy to make with delicious results. It lends itself well to modifications such as adding lots of garlic, or grilled chicken or shrimp at the end. I just love how quick this tasty dish comes together.

I'm constantly trying new Alfredo sauce recipes, as its a favorite in my house, and I despise the jar kinds. This one was really tasty, although I initially only selected it because I had about five things of cream cheese and no cream. The taste really is very good, although I think I do slightly prefer a more traditional Alfredo sauce.

This was really good! My husband said "This is good" about 4 times, he likes chicken alfredo, so I added chicken to a pasta with this sauce and it was so easy and delicious!

Fast, Easy, and very delicious. I steamed a package of veggies to add to the sauce which I thought added to the meal. I used tortelini. I would love to try to make it with less fats. I will be making it again. Oh, it makes alot of sauce.

I made this sauce tonight to for a pizza, and it was delicious! I followed the recipe as is except used low fat cream cheese and olive oil instead of butter. I also added black pepper and dried basil to taste. Outstanding! This recipe will be my staple alfredo sauce from now on!

The cream cheese in this recipe made this the silkiest sauce ever!! Absolutelty delicious! You do have to be patient and whisk and whisk on low to medium heat, however the time spent cooking this the right way makes it all worthwhile! One thing I did change was I used heavy cream instead of milk and added more parm cheese!! YUM!

I made this last night for my boyfriend and some friends for dinner.I used it with cheese ravioli. They all loved it! My one friend is not big on white sauce but he really liked this one. I used fresh garlic instead of powder and added a pinch of nutmeg. This recipe will be used often.

Have used this recipe many times. I use lo-fat cream cheese and extra garlic powder and Parmesan. My husband does not like cream cheese, but he loves this Alfreda sauce. The sauce is creamy and very flavorful. I use it in my chicken alfredo all the time.

Very quick and easy! Like others, i used non-fat cream cheese, low-fat milk and only half the butter. I added more garlic powder for flaver (i'll try fresh garlic next time) and I used a little more salt and shredded parmiggiano regiano instead of grated parmasean. I served it over multi-grain pasta with salmon, asparagus and zuccini. it was great!! i will make it again. I can only imagine how great it would be if I used the fatty stuff! :)
