I created a membership profile just to comment on this. I am not a novice cook, but after this my family may never trust me again. The cream cheese was the dominating flavor and despite following advice from others and using my own experience, the sauce separated. The result, a big pool of butter with a lump floating in the middle. I was able to salvage it into a pizza sauce, but that was only out of a desire to save the ingredients. You are better off making the real thing - it isn't any more difficult.

This is to die for! I have a recipe of my own that I call Mom's pasta that I would buy the Bertelo Alfredo sauce which was a good brand but this is amazing!

Great flavor and soooo easy. I accidently used heavy cream because I got confused looking a several recipes prior but it came out great with the heavy cream. I'll never buy store bought again with Lord knows what in it.

Despite what several reviewers have said about not being able to taste the cream cheese, it was evident and not authentic alfredo sauce in the opinion of my family. We will not eat this again.

This sauce was delicious except for the fact that the garlic was overwhelming. I will definitely make this again, but I will reduce the amount of garlic. Otherwise it was awesome! You can't even tell that it was made with cream cheese.

This sauce is amazing! I followed a few other reviewers suggestions and used 1/2 heavy whipping cream and 1/2 milk, a dash of nutmeg and fresh garlic. I also added 1/2 a chopped shallot. I tossed it with some penne pasta and sauteed yellow & red peppers, mushrooms and carrots. Served a grilled chicken breast on top. The whole family left the table groaning because they ate too much. Thanks for the great recipe!

I am not one to experiment or deviate from the recipe. I feel that this alfredo sauce is amazing, delicious, and easy to make. My family loves it just as much as I do. Definately worth making..you will not be disappointed.

I like this sauce.... but it doesnt taste like alfredo to me and thats why it doesnt get 5 stars. I may have done something wrong though I read the directions over and over and cant see what I might have misunderstood. It just wasnt spectacular.

Have been making it this way for years and my entire family loves! You can take away some calories without reducing flavor by using lowfat parmesan cheese and lowfat cream cheese. I also add a couple teaspoons of Italian Seasonings for good flavor.

My 25 yo son didn't tink it was possible to make a good alfredo sauce. as I was melting the butter and cream cheese, he was reading the directions and adding ingredients as directed, he was still skeptical. I used a little more cheese than directed, but he loves it!! The recipe was easy and delicious.

This was easy and tasted ok. I am a salt freak so I had to add alot and the garlic powder wasn't enough garlic flavor for me. I did add some extras to this recipe. (shrimp, sun dried tomatoes, red pepper). Overall was easy and good.
