I created a membership profile just to comment on this. I am not a novice cook, but after this my family may never trust me again. The cream cheese was the dominating flavor and despite following advice from others and using my own experience, the sauce separated. The result, a big pool of butter with a lump floating in the middle. I was able to salvage it into a pizza sauce, but that was only out of a desire to save the ingredients. You are better off making the real thing - it isn't any more difficult.
