"This chili always has everyone coming back for seconds--that's because I use fresh tomatoes in the recipe. I've been married 31 years and our two grown children still like to come home to eat 'Mom's cooking'!"

I had a bunch of tomatoes that were going bad, so this was a perfect recipe (doubled) to use them up on and it was absolutely yummy! Could use a bit more spice, though, and I am not a big spicy lover. I also used dry pinto beans simmered with onion, garlic, cumin and a bit of chili powder then drained and added to the recipe.
