Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 leaves lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, mayonnaise, salt, and hot pepper sauce. Mix well. Meanwhile, toast bread in toaster. Spread mixture on all 4 slices of toast; set aside.
  2. Arrange lettuce leaves on the bread followed by 3 or 4 slices of tomato. Top with another piece of bread. Repeat with the other sandwich.
