Go deep this Super Bowl Sunday: Serve calzones. These Italian turnovers are perfect 'finger food' -- no knife and fork required. And because the recipes use refrigerated rolls, it's an easy score. All you have to do is make the fillings.

Delicious, satisfying, and very easy to make. My kids will even eat spinach this way! We serve them with warmed spaghetti sauce to dip them in and a salad. Yum!

If you like garlic and spinach, this one's for you! You can use it as an appetizer (sliced) or just cut in half and serve with pasta sauce for dipping. It makes a meal for two!

Use the bread machine to make the herb dough, roll it out and fill it with broccoli or any other vegetable you prefer. Then add ricotta, Parmesan, mozzarella and provolone cheeses. Seal it up and bake it for pizza in a pocket.

A hot filling of chicken, onion and tomato with Mexican cheese means no oven time for these enchiladas--a real time saver. Corn tortillas briefly fried make a fine flavor variation from the usual flour tortillas. If you cannot find rancherito cheese, substitute Monterey jack.

Cook up an easy, hearty meal in just minutes with canned lentil soup stirred into crushed tomatoes, a saute of onion and garlic, chopped spinach and red pepper flakes. Let the mixture warm with tiny cooked pasta, then serve with a sprinkling of Parmesan.

I invented this recipe at the end of the week when groceries were running low-just a few ingredients make up this easy pasta dish. This can be a healthier yet still flavorful meal by using low-fat sour cream and whole wheat pasta.

This is real calzone, because there is no tomato sauce INSIDE of it! We eat it at least once a week. Have a bowl of tomato or spaghetti sauce on the table for people to top their calzone with, if desired.
