My grandmother literally came off the boat from Italy. She is one of those grandmas, whose hands can perform magic in the kitchen. If you are Italian, you know what I mean. This recipe can fool them all!!!! I used Roasted Garlic Instant Mashed Potatoes (Betty Crocker, I think). And I made a Three Mushroom Cream Sauce with lots of freshly grated Romano Cheese on top. What a crowd pleaser!! Five stars are not enough! Thank you.

These turned out much better than I thought they would. They were a little doughy and not very pretty, but I think I could have solved that by putting more flour in.

Absolutely delicious yet very quick and easy!! I find that the dough is usually a bit too soft and sticky to roll out long ropes easily (and adding more flour makes the gnocchi tough) so I usually pinch off small pieces of dough straight from the bowl. works great!

I did not like this recipe! The problem may be that I've never had homemade gnocchi before, but they stuck to my teeth and made quite a mess preparing them. My husband, who loves gnocchi, didn't even finish his! Sorry!

Awesome comfort food, very quick and easy, didn't require a trip to the store. Try it with some caramelized onions and butter, yummy. Will be keeping this recipe!!!!!!!

I made these with the Spicy vodka tomato cream sauce and I thought they were just delicious. I tasted gnocchi for the first time at a restaurant and was just dying to make it myself. I'm so pleased that I can now!

This tastes very ordinary with dried potato flakes, if you can't be bothered to boil some nice fresh potatoes then maybe you should not bother with gnocchi.

Very easy. The amount of flour did not give me a stiff dough - I had a hard time rolling it into a rope, so I ended up just cutting up the pieces and rolling them into little ball-type pieces. Very nice recipe - not too dense, great with a tomato cream sauce. THANKS - never buying frozen gnocchi again.

This is a good recipe. It is a basic recipe for gnocchi that may lack a ton of taste on its own, but it so versitile. When I decide what sauce I want to use, i take some of the flavors from that and add it to the gnocchi (such as sage if I use the Sage Butter Sauce)

These gnocchi taste just like my Croatian Grandma's did!!!!! We love them! I made 8 servings and it could have fed 12 easy. Simply wonderful with my sauce!

My family loved this recipe. So much easier using the instant potatoes. I made a pink cream sauce to go with it and it tasted great. I also freezed for other meals.
