I was very pleased with this recipe. I, too, baked it for 25 min at 450, and it was perfect. I might omit the salt from the sauce next time or use baby swiss instead of aged swiss because it was plenty salty. I really enjoyed the dijon mustard taste. Definitely put the chicken between two layers of plastic wrap before you try to pound it as another reviewer suggested. It's so much less messy. I don't know why I never thought of that before. This recipe is much better than the ones that call for canned soup.

Delicious! The sauce is reminiscent of a fondue sauce and the chicken turned out perfect! And the best part of all, it's all made in the microwave. My only complaint was that most of the bread crumbs came off of the chicken, but it was wonderful nonetheless!

i love this recipe- but i've made a bunch of changes. the sauce is super easy and makes it taste gourmet! i usually don't have swiss cheese at home, but i've used mozarella and an italian blend and my family loves it. i also cheat and make it even faster. i put a layer of bread crumbs on the bottom of the pan, place slices of ham down, spread mustard, put a chicken tender on top of each piece of ham, put mayo on the chicken, add another small piece of ham, sprinkle parmesan and more bread crumbs on top and stick it in the oven. i've even used chicken that is still frozen!!! oh, but i ALWAYS put it in the oven, not the microwave. this is now a regular at our house- thanks!

I really like this recipe, though I change somethings about it it turned out great. I used regular mustard, and I did put baby swiss cheese on top of the ham. I pan fried with veg oil before putting the chicken into the oven at 350 or 35-40 mins. I WILL fix this again, it was that good.

We loved it...I didn't use the mayo. I was skepical about cooking chicken in the microwave. I didn't have a meat tenderizer, so I put the chicken in a ziplock and beat it with a hammer. This was very effective.

I am not a swiss cheese fan, so I always use a high moisture mozarella cheese. I did not like the mayo taste that was so evident in this recipe. I know I will try this again...but will tinker with is, no mayo for me. Thanks anyways for the post.

This recipe was great. Easy to make and delicious. I was hesitant to cook chicken in the microwave though. I just baked it in the oven at 350 for about 45-50 minutes. My husband loved it. I will definitely make it again.

*** for being TEDIOUS the main problem I had is that it took so long. It is bad for a family of four that just comes home from church, hungry, and to have something that they would have to wait on. Needs alot of prep time. **** it tasted AWESOME! The blending of textures, the smells that lingered in the kitchen. Even the dog wouldn't leave me alone. ***if you have a qeezy stomach, then you may want to have the butcher beat down the meat to make it thin enough. On this I was a bit over my head.

This was not good at all. I was sorry I wasted 4 chicken breasts on this recipe. It was messy to slather the mayo on the chicken and the recipe called for wayyy too much bread crumbs and parmesan cheese, so it turned out to be an expensive mistake as well.I usually love the recipes on this website, but this one was too salty and I would not make it again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. I'm taking it out of my recipe box right after I get done writing this. I wish there was some way I could mark this one so I don't accidentally make it again.

I was surprised how well this turned out in the microwave. It cut the cooking time in half, and the chicken was still tender. A good quick dinner served with rice and asparagus.

I didn't like this dish. My husband is a huge fan of Chicken Cordon Bleu and he said it was just ok. He hated the cream sauce, but actually that was the part I liked. Didn't add the mustard or the chicken broth to the sauce. I won't fix this again.

My teenage son is a picky eater...he loves to eat, but if it doesn't come in a wrapper with fries, he's hard to get to try new things. This recipe was a real hit! As for me, it literally took me 15 minutes to prep and within 30 minutes it was on the table. I did roll a slice of swiss cheese with the ham, and I also added about an extra 1/4 up swiss cheese when I made the sauce. The sauce was really delicious, especially with the white wine. My son asked me to make it again. A definitely "keeper".

I actually pulled two recipes for this dish off of allrecipes.com to make. I will have to say, this was was by far way superior to any other that I've ever tried in the past. Can you believe I even went so far as to pan fry them in peanut oil -- (copy cat recipes from a well known restaurant). This was simple, VERY tasty, easy to prepare... Next time I will use a LITTLE more swiss cheese on the inside because they inevitably leak a little. Sprinkling a little parmesan cheese on top before serving adds a nice little touch. I served this with some asparagus with dijon cheese sauce and an apple/cranberry tart for dessert. Was fabulous! ;)

I was real satisfied with this. The only thing I did differently was instead of microwave I baked it 450 for 35min. and used Bisquick biskets for the bread crumbs. I will use this recepie from now on... thank you for this one!!
