For this classic recipe, crumbled bacon, Swiss cheese and a bit of diced onion are scattered in the bottom of a pastry shell and practically drowned in a luscious mixture of cream, eggs, sugar and cayenne pepper. The baked quiche is cooled slightly before being cut into beautiful wedges and served.

I think this must be the original quiche - the old standby from which all others derived. This is a really delicious dish.

Growing up in the U.K. we used to make this all the time. Our guests have asked so many times for this recipe. Well here it is. I bake this quiche for friends at Christmas. Just wrap up in aluminum and voila! A tasty Christmas breakfast that they can wake up to.

This is the perfect Fall or Winter brunch treat. Bacon, Gruyere cheese, broccoli and plum tomatoes are layered into a pastry shell, covered with a savory egg-cream mixture, and baked for an hour until perfectly set and delicious. Makes two 9-inch quiches.

The cheese, meat and veggies in this quiche don 't go into the blender. They 're layered onto the bottom of the pie shell. The egg, onion, garlic, milk, parsley and baking mix concoction, however, does. It 's blended and poured over the other ingredients, baked and served warm.

This is an easy seafood quiche. A wonderful brunch recipe, or can also be a good main course for a light dinner. Crab, Swiss cheese and onion combined with eggs milk and flour, then baked in a pie crust.
