I served this for Christmas breakfast along with the Spinach quiche from All Recipes. This was so delicious. I sauteed the bacon and onions the night before and saved it for the next morning. I also added a little minced garlic and mushrooms to the mix. Everyone loved the quiche. I will make next year too.

I started using this recipe over a year ago when I was first learning how to cook. I like that it is simple and doesn't require a lot of ingredients. At the same time, I love experimenting and adding different things like ham and mushrooms. I have served this to guests at dinner, including my picky French boyfriend, and all loved it. Just be careful this tasty dish is not safe left alone.. my roomate always steals all the leftovers. The only reason I didnt give this recipe 5 stars was that is does require more eggs than stated. Yet it would be hard to mess it up as you can see many reviewers do it their own way and adjust to their tastes. I never have a problem using skim milk but would recommend using good quality cheese, no fake processed stuff.

I added breakfast sausage and mushrooms to this quiche. It was delicious! With the added ingredients, I actually got two pies out of the recipe. I will definitely make this again! Thanks!!

This was great and easy to make!! I split the mix into two 8 or 9 inch pastry dishes.

This recipe is very good! I baked it at 350 and it turned out perfect. I added more bacon and might use less onion next time. But overall it's very easy and delicious!

I use a frozen deep dish pie crust. Flash bake it for 10 minutes at 350. Add an additional egg and use 1 cup half and half. Sauteed a minced clove of garlic with the onion. Add salt, pepper and a little thyme. 8 slices bacon. I've tried it with Swiss and Cheddar and both are good. Cook at 350 until set and a little brown and knife comes out clean. Fanstastic!! Reheats really well too.

This lacked a little something but I think that was because I forgot to put onions in it!

A very good basic recipe. I didn't have enough milk, so I just added an extra egg. I also added chopped ham to make it a Quiche Loraine. The cooking temperature was too high and my crusts burnt, so like the other reviewers, I'd recommend reducing the temperature according to your oven's settings. My boyfriend slowly reheated it a second time in the oven and it was just as delicious, but when I took the leftovers to work and reheated it a 3rd time in the microwave it was awful. I don't recommend this method for reheating unless you enjoy rubber bacon balls! :)

I wasn't crazy about the flavor & neither were my guests. I did increase the amount of bacon by a couple more strips & one additional egg. I will try a different recipe next time, I think.

I was desperately looking for a "finger food-main dish" for my potluck, and decided to make this. At first, I was slightly turned off by its high-fat content, but I knew that quiche is high in fat in nature. To make it healthier and also more flavorful, I made some changes: 1. Used only 4 slices of turkey bacon instead of 12 slices of regular bacon. 2. Omitted cheese (didn't have any) 3. Added about 6 mushrooms, sliced and sauteed in olive oil and garlic. 4. Threw in some frozen corn sitting in my freezer. 5. About two handfuls of frozen spinach, thawed and drained. 6. Some freshly diced tomatoes. People enjoyed it very much, and raved about how pretty it looked. I think I will keep the changes I made in the future, because I think it's definitely healthier and tastier.

This recipe was pretty good. To make it lower in fat I used skim milk 1/2 cup less than recipe asked for. I also used egg substitute. I added some sauteed broccoli and cooked the quiche about 15 minutes longer than the recipe called for.

This is awesome - only a tiny bit left out of 2! Even our super fussy son had seconds. The only problem I had was the crust sticking to the pans (1 was glass and the other was a disposable).
