This pie was delicious! We had a bag full of plums to use that were starting to go bad, and this was the fix. I didn't measure out the plums exactly and it wasn't a problem. I doubled the recipe and the proportions worked out great, no extra or short for two pies. One of the roomies is vegan, this was super simple to "veganize" for her. The pre-made shells were already vegan, so I just left the topping off one pie. The topping is definitely delicious, so if you're not vegan, don't skip it over!

Added Kiwis too this which made it tart and tasty. Made it in a deep dish which required extra 45 minutes of cook time. Delish!

Excellent! I also omitted the pie crust like other memebers and substituted splenda for the sugar. Tastes great and not terrible for you!

I got a bag of plums at a big discount from my local grocery store and was looking for something to make with them. I made this pie exactly as the recipe suggests and it is the most amazing pie I have ever had! It tastes wonderful and fresh and it's pretty enough to serve to company. This recipe is a real find and definitly a keeper!

This recipe was wonderful! I have had my fill of plums this summer and was looking for another recipe to use them up. My kids LOVED the pie. I did not have any lemon to add, regardless, it was very flavorful and will make it again!

OMG! I've never had plum pie or even heard of it, however, plums were on sale, and when I came across this recipe I had to try it. It is so amazingly good! It is most definitely that recipe everyone will be begging you for!

This was a really delicious pie. I substituted tapioca for the flour and made a double crust pie instead of using the topping. I used the Ruths Grandmas Pie Crust recipe from allrecipes site. Baked for 50 minutes. Yum!
