This was perfect. Just enough chocolate to coat each piece of cereal, and I did use 9 cups. I also used a grocery bag to shake the cereal and powdered sugar. Next time I'm going to use chunky peanut butter because I think it would be absolutely wonderful with peanuts added.

Very addictive snack! I added 1/4 cup of butter to the chocolate chips and peanut butter before melting in the microwave. I also stirred in a teaspoon of vanilla extract once the chocolate/peanut butter/butter mixture was combined. I used a little less powdered sugar - about 1 1/4 cups - and there was still some left over in the plastic bag. I then spread the cereal out on waxed paper to cool and harden up before storing the fridge.

This is sooo good! A look at the nutritional chart provided says that the serving size is about 1/3 cup. Don't pay any attention to that because you will be eating a LOT more! In fact, just don't look at the chart at all. I think I used more than the recommended amount of sugar. I like an all over coating of powdered sugar on mine. Also, due to personal preference, I think I will add another 1/4 to 1/2 cup of peanut butter next time. There wasn't as much pb flavor as I was hoping for, but I am a peanut butter fan. Still gets 5 stars for a great (and big) recipe!

Made this with the help of a 6 year old friend....She had a great time helping me make it and an even better time eating it. Melted it in the microwave and did add vanilla. Great recipe. Thanks, Nicky.

My girls had fun making this with me. I ended up adding more powdered sugar because my babysitter asked me why the color looked grey...needed more sugar.

Not lovin it. Made the recipe exactly as stated. I keep going back to the bowl trying a piece, and thinking what is everyone raving about? It wasn't what I expected, but to each his own right? UPDATE 7/26/08 by popular demand I was told to edit my review. Any one who ate this stuff LOVED IT ! I still don't get it, but hey just thought you guys should know it goes over well. OH, also gave some away as a small thank you gift and added M&Ms and pretzels to the mix.

I LOVE this recipe! Just the way it is, it's perfect. I've made it twice, the second time cutting everything in half (since I'm usually the one who eats it all!), and the ingredient amounts were fine. Definitely a must for the holidays.

I was really surprised how easy this recipe is and how well kids devour it. Big hit here and taking another reviewer's advice of microwaving the chocalate and peanut butter makes it super easy and fast!
