I really didn't like the butter flavor and found I don't need to add it at all. It tastes much better without it. It's so quick to make. It only took about 5 minutes!

You gotta love Puppy chow...However I jut learned that if you use the biggest Ziplock bag at the bottom put part of the powered sugar and then add half cereal mix then layer it. It turns out more evened when your done shaking it.

I had a recipe for this years ago and was trying to find one like it, this sure was not it. I did everything the same as the recipe but did use the slightly smaller box of cereal as suggested, because my store did not have the larger size. It turned into one big clump of mess, not individual bite size pieces like my old recipe did. To save it rather than throw it away i pressed it into a 9x9 cake pan and cut it into squares.

My kids love this. It is so simple and I can send a little baggie in their lunch box to school or we can take it on a picnic at the park. I personally think it is very sweet but they love it! We happen to have the ingredients in the house.

Yummy, addictive, yummy! Used only 12oz box of rice chex, after tossing in large tupperware container, put in fridge to cool. Then tossed with maybe 6 heaping TBSP of powdered sugar. Sooooooo goooooood

This snack sure doesn't stick around very long! I did cut back on some of the sugar. I threw in some M&M's and it was a hit. I will definitely be making this again!

This is a great recipe that my family all enjoyed. My husband who has recently returned from iraq said the guys over there would love it, but we wonder how long it is good for before we make it up and ship it out. If anyone knows please let us know or post.

Wonderful! Whenever I serve it at parties I have to print a dozen of the recipe. My trick...pour the cereal into a large clean unscented tall kitchen trash bag. The mixing and shaking is much easier. Be sure not to get the chocolate too warm. I freeze mine so the chocolate that gets stuck to the sides on the bag fall away and adds to the cereal. A+ Bonnie! Keep 'em coming!

This was good but I think I overdid it on the powdered sugar b/c it had a funny aftertaste. I do love sugar though so I'm sure I added more than I thought I did. Also, a tip for those who have never made this kind of a thing...it is really messy, so be prepared...don't be like me and get powdered sugar everywhere b/c you're trying to mix it up in a bag that's way too small!

I thought this was awesome but I think I like my mother-in-laws better. She uses some oil with the chocolate chips before she microwaves it. Still an awesome recipe though!
