Pumpkin Spiced Latte

SUBMITTED BY: Zippy      PHOTO BY: kat

"My husband is obsessed with Starbuck's Pumpkin Spice Lattes! I created this recipe so we wouldn't have to go broke. I've made these countless times for everyone who visits. I think I've actually become famous for these within our very-extended family. No espresso machine is needed."

Enjoyed this drink, however I would add a bit more coffee next time. I too added more sugar than the recipe suggested and used 2% milk instead of whole. Will definitely make again!

This is a good alternative to any coffee shop's pumpkin spiced latte and the instant mixes - quick to make and very yummy. I reduced the amount of milk and instead of using hot milk and then whipped cream, I added warm milk I had preparred in my milk frother, which turned out very well. I will definetly make it again and will stop buying the instant mixes you get at the stores. After using less milk, this is a keeper.

I had high hopes for this recipe but was disappionted. It came out really milky and not very spicey. I ended up having about 2 cups of the milk mixture left over and I had to add about 2 extra teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice. people said thay like it but no one wanted another cup.
