This was awesome. Sweet enough that we don't even put syrup on them. I didn't have any ginger in the house, so I tossed in a dash of Pumpkin Pie spice instead, for one batch, and left the ginger out totally for the other batch. Either way they were a hit at home and at work.

I have made this recipe several times, and it comes out awesome every time! I add a little more cinnamon, like 2 tsp instead of the 1. I have looked all over for a pumpkin pancake recipe and this one does the trick! My 4 kids ask for these all the time...they are moist and flavorful. Definitely worth a try!

Very good! Per some other suggestions, I doubled the cinnamon and ginger! They were a hit with my kids...they almost tasted like pumpkin bread!

These are pretty good, but after tasting the first few I made some alterations. I added more pumpkin (almost the whole can), more cinnamon and a little nutmeg. Then they were worthy of 4.5 stars. I added pecans to about half of them, and those were worthy of 5 stars! Yum! Great fall breakfast.

These are great -- instead of syrup, I sprinkled some powdered sugar on them. Also used a little bit of cool whip -- very yummy!

These were delicious. My husband who doesn't like things that are different even loved these as well as my son, the picky eater. These will be made more often and most likely instead of reglar pancakes. YUMMO

Awesome recipe (made it from scratch and using someone's suggestion that involved using pancake mix)... my son requests is almost every morning! I just make a bunch of batter, then pour whatever I don't use that morning in a gallon baggie, put it in the fridge, and cut the corner off to pour pancakes the next morning!

SUper! I used a sweet variety of pumpkin (blue Hopi) so I used only 2 TBL. sugar. Also used whole wheat flour. Pancakes had lots of flavor and were darkly beautiful. Used hand held wand to puree pumpkin and mix all ingredients. Came out super, made 16 pancakes.

Hearty, stick-to yer-ribs pancakes. Super thick and heavy, the way I love em! And the pumpkin makes them ever more interesting!

I used this recipe to get an idea on how much pumpkin and spices to add to my regular pancake recipe and with a few adjustments it really turned out great. I used 1 3/4 c. flour, 1/8 c. brn sgr, 1/8 c. wht sgr, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp cloves, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1 1/2 c. milk, 1 c. pumpkin & 4 tbs melted butter. Thanks for helping me tweak my basic pancake recipe!

This was a good base recipe. The texture is right on but the taste was a very . I think using some of the spices listed in greater quanitity would make these pancakes outstanding. Definitely going to give these another go with some revisions.

A wee bit on the bland side, despite the spices. Just felt like it was missing something. The 6 year-old had the brilliant idea to add pecans and craisins. Didn't even need syrup then! I also made it the second time with 1/2 c whole wheat (red) flour, 1/2 c white flour, and 1 c Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Baking Mix. They were so incredibly soft!

These are good and filling. I used wheat flour instead of white, evaporate milk for butermilk and didn't add ginger because I had none in the cupboard. I did add pumpkin spice though.

These were wonderful. I love that the pumpkin and accompaning spices are subtle enough to pair with some dark chocolate chips. I typically am not a fan of choc. chip pancakes, to me they just don't go. But with the flavors here they go deliciously. Me and my kids are in love!!!!

Delicious! I did make a few changes, though. Like previous reviewers suggested, I used 2 eggs rather than 1. I also used 1 cup wheat flour & 1 cup white. For the spices I used: 2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. allspice, 1 tsp. cardamom, and 1/2 tsp. ginger. I added 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1 cup chopped pecans. They were exquisite! I'll definitely be making these again.
