Sorry I made it and won't try it again as this is a recipe not worth repeating. Parts are too sweet, others not sweet enough... It is better after sitting overnight but not by much - it took it from indelible to just barely edible. If you like cookies made from dough logs from the grocery store, monkey bread made from refrigerator biscuits, recipes that call for instant pudding and vanilla wafers - maybe. I threw two 9x13 pans of it away because it didn't taste like cake, or pudding, or dessert, or breakfast or a bread or... It's this weird hybrid thing that doesn't really fit into any category, succeed in soothing any craving you might be having. It's not pumpkiny enough to satisfy if you're craving pumpkin pie, it's not sweet enough if you're craving sugar, it's not savory, hearty, homemade enough. It's not warm enough, cold enough... More than what it is, is all that it's not. About the only thing this recipe is, is easy. And slightly less expensive than picking up something already baked on sale from Walmart. If you intend to make this to give as a gift, well hopefully the person you intend to give it to is a firmer believer in - Who the heck cares what it tastes like it's the thought that counts. A better plan for a new cook - buy 2 dozen plain cupcakes from a bakery you like (call & they'll pull some from their freezers for you) thaw them out then top w/homemade powder sugar icing & decorate w/whatever color sprinkles are appropriate for that season/holiday/occasion.
