Delicious! I made this for 8 of my best girlfriends at our monthly card party and they were raving over it. My husband was lucky enough to get a piece when the party was over and he loved it too (and he is not a dessert eater at all)

This was tasty. I replaced 3 tbs. butter for applesauce in the crust and took out 1/8 c. of sugar. The crust was more cake like then a dense bar but was still yummy. I also replaced 1 tbs. butter in the crumb mix with applesauce and used only 1/8 c. sugar and could not tell the difference. Overall this was yummy but I am not sure if I will make it again. I also think that it will taste better tomorrow after refrigerating.

We love this recipie. This will be my third Thnksgiving making this both for the holiday, as well as gifts. I did change two things, I bake it in a spring form pan, which makes a better presentation and cook it for about 15 min. more, I watch it closely and have even turned the oven off and just let it sit.

Better than 5 stars!!!!I just made this for a Halloween party I went to and the whole pan was gone within 3 hours! I'm not a baker and wasn't sure how these would go over but everyone was talking about them and asking who made them. I don't even like pumpkin that much but these were to die for.

My family is going crazy over this recipe! My husband cannot stop eating it and my son is addicted to it. I made it just an hour ago and it's half gone. I can't really think of any changes other than I might try mixing brown sugar with the butter and cake mix for the topping instead of white sugar. Great dessert.

This came out soo good. I now want to try different variations of this. I do reccommend add at least 1/4 tsp of nutmeg as well. It is wonderful!!!!!! My husband likes this and he is not a pumpkin fan! Thank you for sharing!!!

Very, very good. The first time I made the cake the topping resembled the picture, the second time it was more like a traditional crumb cake topping - both times this recipe was a grand success.

I made this for my friends one evening. They loved it!! Everyone loved the mix of pumpkin with some crunch on top. I added a pinch of nutmeg to the pumpkin mixture. As others said, I put it ina smaller pan. I'm making it again ASAP for another holiday get together!!! Thanks for the great recipe.

Very good- Kind of like a pumpkin pie with a crunchy top. Looks nice when cut into bars and put on a serving platter. I followed recipie exactly. Might add a bit of nutmeg next time to the pumpkin mixture.
