My picky son (and my husband) loves these muffins!!! I sneak in a scoop of protein powder to make them even more nutritional for him!

Very good and pretty low in fat! I left out the nutmeg and cloves by preference. I used 3/4 tsp. cinnamon and used brown sugar instead of white. delicious!

I followed others suggestions: Doubled the spices (and then doubled again since I doubled the recipe) used an entire can for a double batch, lowered the temp. to 350 and baked for 20 min. PERFECT!

Made the recipe as followed but added 1/2 cup of walnuts. Great I think just needed a tad bit more salt.

These muffins are delicious!! I have made them a couple of times now... the first time I followed the recipe exactly and the second time I didn't have semisweet chocolate chips so I used white chocolate chips instead... they were actually really good! My husband said he preferred them with the white chocolate chips. If I eat a muffin after it's cooled then I like to heat it in the microwave for about 5-10 seconds to melt the chocolate and moisten the muffin.

Excellent. Only thing I changed was using 1 cup of chips instead of 1/2.

Amazing!!! I omitted the nutmeg (we didn't have any) and replaced the oil with apple sauce. Truly delicious!
