Fantastic!!! I reduced the oil, as suggested, and they turned out perfectly. Great as a snack or morning treat. Even picky eaters will enjoy these muffins.

Pretty good! I tripled the recipe. I used 3/4c. white sugar and 1 1/2c. brown sugar, 1/4c. vegetable oil and 1/2c. applesauce, and a 29oz. can of pumpkin. I didn't use any cloves. I used 2t. of cinnamon, 1/2t. of nutmeg, and 1t. pumpkin pie spice. I also added 2t. of vanilla. I did not use chocolate chips, but next time I will try cinnamon chips. I used a cookie dough scoop to fill the muffin cups. I used 1 scoop for the mini muffins and 2 1/2 scoops for the regular. I sprinkled the tops with cinnamon sugar. The batch made 24 mini muffins (baked for 11 min.) and 24 regular muffins (baked for 20min). We are still eating them warm with butter! Very nice!

Addictive! These are SO good; we just love them. I did use packed brown sugar in place of the white sugar and I also realized I was out of nutmeg. I threw some pumpkin pie spice in instead and it worked great. I used mini chocolate chips, as that I made mostly mini muffins. The only thing I would chage next time would be to double the recipe because these go fast! Thanks!

These are very good moist muffins. My house smelled great while these were baking. Couldn't wait to get them out of the oven. Followed the recipe exactly and glad I did.

These muffins were delicious. I love the taste of pumpkin so was very pleased with the taste. I gave it a four because the chocolate chips are unnecessary. I did add extra seasonings.

These muffins were very good. They did lack a bit of flavor so I will probably add more spices next time. I did double the cinnamon and nutmeg though. I didn't use chocolate chips for preference, if I had they might have had more flavor.

My family loves these muffins! I use whole wheat flour and white flour (1:3 ratio). I also added 1 cup of flaked coconut and 1 cup of chopped walnuts to make a heartier muffin.

My family and I really enjoyed this recipe. I substitued brown sugar for white and only used 1/2 cup. I also used applesauce instead of oil, the entire can of pumpkin, 1 Cup whole wheat flour and 1/2 Cup white, mini chocolate chips and doubled the cinnamon. I normally don't like it when people change the recipe, but I wanted to make it healthier for my two babies. I also used a mini-muffin pan and it made 3 dozen!

These came out great! I did follow some of the other reviewers advice and tried 1 cup pumpkin puree and substitued light brown sugar instead of the white. I also upped the spices to 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg and ground cloves. They turned out really moist and everyone loved them!

I made this recipe this week, but realized I loaned my cupcake/muffin pans out - so I made it in a loaf pan. Turned out awesome! I did use brown sugar in place of white, and added more chocolate chips and a full cup of the pumpkin but other than that followed the recipe - I baked it for 40 min. DELISH!

These were the best! I increased the spices to 1/2 tsp. cloves, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, and 1 tsp of cinnamon and increased the pumpkin to 1 cup. They were super moist and the chocolate really complimented the pumpkin! Will be making these again for sure!

I love these muffins! I make them two different ways: exactly as in the recipe (except maybe with a little more pumpkin) and with cream cheese. Put half the normal amount of batter in each muffin cup, then add a dollop of cream cheese with a little bit of sugar added and finally put the rest of the batter on top. Bake as the recipe states. The muffins come out with a little surprise in the middle!

I thought these were OK. They did have a lot of pumpkin flavor which was fine but I definetley did not like the chochlate chips in them.

I made these muffins with some of the changes other people recommended -- light brown sugar for the sugar and doubled the cinnamin and ground nutmeg and left out the ground cloves. I made them into mini muffins for 12 minutes and it made 6 dozen! My husband and kids loved them! I would definitely make these again!

I made the mistake of making the recipe "as is" instead of taking the suggestions of other reviewers. The muffins were very bland--they didn't taste pumkin-y or spicy. Anything I bring to work is usually gobbled up within 5 minutes, but when I took a batch of these to work, there were still some left at the end of the day. Maybe the muffins are good if you add more pumpkin, increase the amount of spice, and use brown sugar instead of white sugar. They're not good if you make them as the recipe tells you to.

Since I don't have ground cloves (too expensive) I just use allspice instead. These muffins are great, everyone loves them!
