I made this for a Halloween party and everyone loved it. I didn't put the pineapple in and substitiuted bacon for the beef. Also added a tablespoon of red bell pepper. I made this the day before so the flavors would blend together. Also used my food processor as some people don't like onions.

I'm rating the cheese ball I made. I really modified it. I omitted the pineapple and used real bacon bits instead of dried beef. I also added a half a package of ranch dressing powder mix. It was a huge hit!

I added more onion and more pumpkin than the recipe called for. I doubled them. I also added some bacon bits and garlic salt for added flavor. I shaped mine into a flat pumpkin on the platter which was much easier. Recipe is a little bland as is, but spice it up a bit! It turned out great!

I made this for a family BBQ and it seemed to go over pretty well despite the odd combination of ingredients. I served with carrot chips and wheat thins. It makes a ton! I will definitely make it again.

I made this cheese ball before and lost the recipe. It always gets great reviews. The mixture of all the ingredients makes for a surprising delicious cheeseball. Great for the fall.

I brought this to a women's event at church and it was quite popular. It really looks darling in the pumpkin shape with the celery top stem. The mixture is quite soft, so allow plenty of time to set up in refrigerator. Cool it completely before "scoring" to make it look like a pumpkin. I placed it on cellophane wrap, placed it inside a perfectly round small bowl and pulled up the sides of the wrap to hold the round shape. Good recipe for low fat or no fat ingredients. While I thought it tasted good, it was missing something for me. I think next time I will add cooked, crisp smoked bacon instead of beef and increase the onion to 2T; maybe increase cheese a bit as well to help it hold its' shape. I would try again because of the cute shape.

My daughter made this for a 4H food and nutrition competition. She shaped it into a pumpkin and used about a 1" stalk of celery and a few leaves to make the stalk and leaves for the top of the pumpkin. It looked beautiful and everyone liked it and was surprised to learn it had pumpkin in it.
