Really good! I used a few variations of my own. I used a little less than 1 pound of meat. I used the full can of tomato soup, and only about 2/3 pumpkin. I also made my own chili sauce, which consisted of 1 half cup of tomato sauce, 1 tsp of red vinegar, 2 tble spoons of brown sugar, half can of rotel, a few dashes of onion soup mix, and liberally used the chili poweder (we like it hot =) ) It was great! Tastes just like sloppy joes, but a tad bit sweeter. This recipes willl make a great dish throughout fall and winter, thanks!

We grew several pumpkins this year and I have made this recipe 2x with some little changes with great response. I left the pumpkin coarsely chopped so there is some texture, I used 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice and I left out the salt and pepper (this lets everybody season to taste).

I tried this because it's October and I was looking for unexpected ways to use pumpkin. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious this truly is. I do agree with other reviewers, though, that 1 1/2 lbs. of ground beef isn't sufficient for the amount of sauce this recipe makes. Next time, I'll use at least 2 lbs. of ground beef. But there will definitely be a next time...and a next, and a next...

I have made this several times over the past years. The kids LOVE this. My only complaint, is that I find the recipe is easy to burn down, leaving an acerbic taste. Making it tonight, hoping to find the patience to cook SLOW!

This was very good, not all that different from regular sloppy joes. I loved the added fiber and vitamins from the pumpkin.

Great recipe! I used 1/2tsp cinnamon and 1/2tsp nutmet instead of Allspice. Also substituted tomato soup for 1/2 can tomato paste. Added 1/2tsp garlic powder. Turned out great!

This was a great recipe. I didn't have pumpkin pie spice so used 1/2tsp each of allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon. I also took the advice of another reviewer and added some garlic powder. Found it had loads of flavour! And what a great way to hide some extra vitamins from the picky eaters!

These would be best described as sweet sloppy joes. My family did enjoy them, although you couldn't taste the pumpkin at all. But it's good to have in there for a little vitamin A! Nice variation and very simple to make.

Not as fast, but way better than Manwich!!! The only thing I changed was I doubled the meat and added about 1T of molasses and about 1/4c of brown sugar, we like things a little sweet. I didn't have pie spice so I added the spices individually. It's like really good sweet/spicy baked beans. My family enjoyed these very much, they got the test run and this next week I'm fixing it in a big batch to take to our church potluck!

I like trying different recipes. I thought ground beef and pumpkin would be an interesting experiment. This had an excellent flavor. Plus, it really makes a lot of food which is great if you have company.

This recipe is very good, a little spicy for me, but others love it and don't even realize their is pumpkin in it. I use it as our regular sloppy joe recipe.
