I love this taffy!! My little sister also instead of making them candy canes, we just made them into sticks. They were awesome.

Great recipe! I have looked everywhere for a taffy recipe. Next time I will try using different flavors! Thanks!

I made these candy canes and they came out really nice, though the white taffy became very hard very quickly. The second time I pulled the white taffy very quickly and not very long at all, so it wasn't even totally milky white and it came out great! Thanks for the recipe!

We made this recipe and although it was tasty and cute, even with four people pulling, it got hard too quickly to be able to manipulate into the cute canes. The final product was not chewy. It was stick to your teeth hard, and even when the pieces were wrapped in wax paper, it was impossible to separate (from either the paper or other pieces of the candy). It was very tasty and disappeared quickly- It was also very cute even though we could not get the two colors to be an even width before wrapping. This candy was especially nice when you chipped off a piece and dropped into a hot cup of tea for flavor. :) I will try one of the other recipes to see if they are better.

I don't think I know enough about Pulling the Taffy. This was my first try and by the time I got to the second tray of taffy to pull it was too hard. And i couldn't get the taffy to keep its shape
