This is a unique Spanish breakfast custard that my Puerto Rican father loved as a child and something my mother made for us as we were growing up. It takes patience to whisk the custard for 25 minutes, but the results are very delicious and warming on a cold winter morning.

Very yummy creamy tropical coconut eggnog made with spices and white rum. It is always requested at my holiday gatherings. (And sometimes gets selfishly hidden in the fridge by the hostess.) Serve in glass cups and sprinkle with more cinnamon if desired. Feliz Navidad!

This a traditional Puerto Rican eggnog. I am Crucian-Puerto Rican (from St. Croix, VI) and we enjoy this made with our own Cruzan Rum. So, kick up your feet and enjoy!

First you marinade it in hot pepper and Worcestershire sauce, then you punch it up with garlic and olives and more hot pepper sauce, then you add wedges of pepperoni for an unexpected jolt of flavoring.

Sauteed and seasoned ground beef is enclosed in egg roll wrappers, and deep fried. Wonton wrappers could be used instead, to make smaller cocktail appetizers.

This is an easy, creamy custard dessert with Costa Rican flavors: dark brown sugar, rum, coffee, coconut and bittersweet chocolate. Panna cotta is sort of the Italian version of creme brulee.
