This was excellent. I followed suggestions and blanched the asparagus. The color was vibrant and the taste delicious. It is really important to use good quality Prosciutto for this recipe. I also wrapped bundles of spears in with one slice of prosciutto (4 spears). i think I could have gotten away with putting a few more spears since they were so thin. I used softened cream cheese as the filling. Will definitely make again.

These were AWESOME -- I took the advice of other members with blanching the spears first - roll and bake/broil. This was the highlight of the meal!! Thank you for sharing!

I made this for a Valentine's Day dinner in an attempt to recreate an hors d'oeuvre from our wedding and while I wasn't impressed with them out of the oven I loved them cold! I did not personally care for the warm prosciutto. It seemed to become almost overly salty. I did what others did and blanched the asparagus first. I would make again but I think I'll leave the oven out of it.

Would you believe this was the first time I have ever eaten asparagus! My friend raved about the recipe. I thought it was OK - purchased prime proscuitto, followed the recipe exactly, yet found it somewhat tough to cut through the proscuitto. I would make it again, on occasion for the presentation.

This was very good and it was well liked. I blanched the asparagus a few minutes before wrapping them. I used white and green asparagus like someone else mentioned but I found that the white was somewhat more difficult to bite than the green. I will probably just use green next time. The cream cheese was a bit difficult to spread onto the prosciutto but I managed. I may try a different cheese sometime. I used bacon when I ran out of prosciutto. Very fun recipe. ***UPDATE. I made this again, but this time used very thinly sliced corned beef and added goat cheese to the cream cheese. I was told that it was much better than with the prosciutto. Plus it was at least half the price.

Truly delicious. I couldn't find Neufchatel cheese, so I just used what I had on hand - sliced Swiss cheese. It was super easy, and because I left it in the oven longer than 15 minutes, the prosciutto had a nice crunch to it.

Loved these. I did put cream cheese on some but didn't like it as much as I did without it. I also used bundles of 3 stalks of white and green asparagues and 2-3 slices of prosciutto. Really classy and good. Thanks!

My husband loved it but I thought the saltiness of the prosciutto overpowered the flavors of the cheese and asparagus. Next time it might be worth wrapping bunches of 4-5 asparagus stems instead of just 3 to help improve the ratio of asparagus to prosciutto. But overall a fun side dish with attractive presentation, so I'd definitely try it again.

these taste great and were a huge hit however I think I will experiment and try to get the aspargus to stay a little more crunchy instead of mushy
